I fell off my bed today. Normally I put a chair next to my bed. But these few days, I decided that my pillows and bolster has been falling off my bed too often and decided to put the extra pillows on the chair. I am not exactly small and having 1 bolster, 2 pillows and 3 cushions together with a small soft toy is too squeezy. Hence the cushions went on the chair. This morning while I was sleeping, I rested on the cushions beside my pillow and thought that it was my pillows on my bed AND I tossed and turned INTO air.

and piang! Fell onto the floor with a loud thud.

An earthquake of 8.8 on the Ritcher scale was recorded in Tampines. Residents felt tremors for a few seconds and attributed it to earthquakes in Indonesia. A housewife which refused to be named, said " I was up at about 6 am to prepare breakfast and felt my whole flat vibrated for a few seconds. Thinking that it was an earthquake, I grabbed my children to the void deck. The tremors were really quite powerful. My cup of coffee which was only half-full spilled. I am addicted to online shopping cause I want to buy clothes from US. But thanks to joyce, I have been saving up instead of buying. Cause I only got 2 feet, 2 hands and 1 butt.

anyway update on my summer holidays, I read 15-20 books during the summer. I think my IQ increased by 1 so now I am 101.

This sem, I am doing projects with a greater variety of people. That's good. Expand social cicle. And I see many familiar people in my class. Hurhurhur. Everybody is so-and-so's friend.

anyway parties are great places to meet more people and friends. Just came back from yen san's birthday party and met many new people there. Will post pictures when I receive them.

and back to school stuff, I will end up having lessons from 830 am to 645 pm continously when week 8 starts and tuition after that :( Jerry said that I can buy 3 lunch boxes to eat from breakfast to dinner in class. zzzzzzzzzzzz

Time to plan another holiday to somewhere nearby later this year cause of the burnout this sem. Oh wait, I need to save money. Crap!

Frenie said I should blog here... (minus the extreme angst that I poured into my own blog) well so here I am. One week has passed by in school, we're all dreading what's to come. Or at least I am. Bahh. I'm really not good at handling 5 CUs per sem (bye bye GPA) with most of them ending at 645pm. Wears me out easily no matter how much sleep I get on the night before. (ok I admit, mostly I sleep about 5 hours? And I CAN'T for the life of me get to classes on time. Forget 830 classes. brrr.) But I guess the only good thing this year (for the guys) is that WOW, the new babes are hot. Don't you think so? It's like a fashion war out there or something. I'm getting concious of my shirt with jeans combo. Why are the girls getting prettier but all we get from the male population is a slight increase in height (say 1.5cm)? But still hugely below the acceptable height. Unfair. Why is nobody listening to me when I say they should ban football for Spore guys from age 11-16 and force them to take basketball instead? It's not like dreaming to become a Ronaldinho would make you play like one. And no, women only like sporty men dripping with sweat if you happen to look like BECKHAM. (wearing a Beckham No.7 England Jersey or a Real Madrid No. 23 gets you DEDUCTION points for even thinking you may look like him) So they should worry about their height instead and stop making things hard for us girls eh. Like I would like to wear some heels for a change without making myself a giant. I'm only 165cm for that matter.

Ok moving on.. Let's see what I have this sem: Org Change & Design, Comms in China, Social Psychology, Mgt Science and I dropped IE for Training & development. If you don't know by now, yes I'm doing an OBHR Major. Why? Why do you ask me why? Why one major? Why OBHR? Why, you think I follow 80% of the biz population and choose Finance? Or accounts for that matter. It's amazing how many people think that choosing Finance as a major= Oh great I am so smart and Prof said that it's the only course I will get rich by in the future. I'm not buying the story they are actually Interested in finance in the first place.
Bite me.

I chose OBHR because well, I guess it is the slackest. Is that even a reason? Hmm. Maybe it's more justifiable by doing the process of elimination. (just so I cover my ass) Didn't choose finance or accts because Hello, I already have a diploma in Acctg & Finance for that matter. Why toture myself all over again just so I can get into WOW THE BIG FOUR. Yawn. Enuff said. Marketing seems quite interesting, but you know they say "anyone can do Mktg", meaning it doesn't really hold much value anywhere.. OPS/OM? Don't get me anywhere near it. My CAT died if you know what I mean. What else.. oh Corporate Comm.. I'm not much of a public speaker, unless shouting my support for Mr Chiam See Tong counts. Management major.. bah. Its courses will put me to sleep. I actually contemplated doing Law Major cos it's somewhat fascinating, but I think it's too much work (and with them offering a Bachelor in Law next year, what can a Biz student majoring in law do, eh eh eh.)

Yay so there you see, OBHR is the thing for me. Hur hur hur. I'm more for the OB courses rather than the nitty gritty HR stuff.. but oh well. (I should have held a gun to my forehead and FORCED my parents to let me go Melbourne Uni for my Criminology degree instead, but I guess even that wouldn't make them budge. Bahh. There goes my hope of getting a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree.) Oh ya, and I don't see the point for a double major either, other than a waste of time + kiasuism + more stress that doesnt equate to a higher working salary. I'd like to think I am right.

Anyway I sort of attended Vivace yesterday.. boo! for samba masala (hope nobody here is in that club) for making NOISE and damaging my eardrums plus irritating all other clubs suay enough to be stationed near them. Real cheesy. I signed up for a geek club Astronomy (wow I surprise myself sometimes)... hur hur. My sis is asking me to join Aikido? She says it's the most useful in terms of martial arts related sports. Is that true? (I'm jolly well sure this gets a few nods because some people from Aikido do watch this space. Secretly. But yes, we DO know you peeps are reading it, so that's why we bothered blogging. Since you guys must be quite bored or something.) Anyway back to Aikido. Join? That means I have to cut all my nails? Noooooooooo. How about you throw in a free uniform and I will consider it seriously. I mean, hey, I do want to join the Police Force, so why not.

Winnie has left us for Alaska, she will be there for about 4 months as part of SMU's work and travel program. So good. I can imgaine all the salmon fishes literally jumping out of the alaskan waters into people's plates. Haha. Sushi will never taste fresher. Anyway, Winnie went to Alaska with her twin Piglet, and they are to be chambermaids (LOL) at a small town hotel. Next, she is really quite pixie like. After all the best things come in small packages ( including diamonds). Tiffany here is definitely one of the best things around.

The night before when we checked in, we had to put up all the decorations. My poor cousin who stayed over was made the director of the operation as she is good in art.

6. i got 3 presents from 3 guys. Cause I said they must bring 3 presents. They even thought got entrance fee and they must pay when they reach my chalet. I told them 10 bucks each. wahahhaa. The 3 guys are zehao, marcus ( my son) and andy. The 3 of them wanted to run off and everytime they suay cause I managed to catch them. Oh yah, back to the 3 presents they bought. 1 cusion, 1 bag ( can bring to sch) and 1 plastic bag to put the other 2 presents. -_______-

7. Guy Lachoche wallet by pauline. Her daughters and husband came. Just when they are leaving, my friends (maybel and gang) arrived. Maybel said " wah so pretty. cause Pauline's daughter really very pretty and cute." Later i received an sms from pauline asking whether my friend said she was pretty or her daughter pretty. wahhahahahaha.

15. white leather working bag and lots of earrings ( i tink got 4-5 pairs) by yensan, christine, siling, beyan. All very nice. I can bring it to work and hiao hiao wear one pair of new earrings a day.

16. fancl facial product, shiseido eyeclash curler, stila green eyeshadow, maybelline mascara, mac blusher and mac lip glass by my leo board. Love love for them. They made a huge card with my name and wrote messages for me. *touched* Almost cried but decided to hold back.

Some highlights on 1st april, my birthday cake was infested with ants cause we left in the chalet room. Luckily ah chor and gang went to see the birthday cake to discover the unwanted ANTSty visitors. TMD. Got alot of them lor. Now I don't care liao. I shall declare war on all the ants. Shouldn't be kind to avoid them when I walk. Vanna and ah chor's gangs went to kill all the ants while I went down to take care of the guests. After killing all the ants, ah chor's gang are supposed to sit and stare at the cake in order to kill any incoming ants. wahahhaah. Thank you chors!!! And I finally understood all the postcards. So nice and funny. I sense alot of chorness in all the cards.

and the buffet food ran out although there was alot of other food like otahs and bbq food. Ah chor did not eat 50 otahs. I think I ate 7 otahs that day. I only managed to eat after all the guests left. Too many pple came liao. I invited about 100 ++. I thought 80 will turn up. I think about 100 turned up. :):):):):):)

In the end no paper to cut out my name and we went outside at 1 am to pluck leaves. I am organic what. Then I scared the ghosts will be unhappy that I destroy their home so I said excuse me before plucking the bushes. hahahaha. Damn weird to hear someone talking to herself.

I hope I din missed out anything. Cherysa took alot of videos and she became the official newsanchor for the party. She even interviewed joyce and asked for her feelings when they discovered the ants.

"Story of the Hand Cream"

So he leaves to fetch the soap and doesn't bother to get dressed becuase who would still be in the church at such a late hour? So he comes back from his room with two bars of soap and is walking down the hall when suddenly he hears voices coming around the corner, so with his quick thinking he froze to the wall, stiff as a statue. The voices turned out to be that of three nuns, who, when saw him standing there like a statue stopped to look at and admire him complimenting at how realistic he looks and what a nice body he has.

When suddenly one of the nuns reaches out and grabbed his penis. Startled, he dropped a bar of soap, with this the nun said "Oh look, a soap dispencer", wanting to test the first nun's theory the second nun reaches out and also grabs his penis, again he drops a bar of soap. With this the nun says "Yes it's true, it is a soap dispencer". Wanting to get her share of soap and excitement too, the third nun reaches out and grabs his penis. Everybody, meet one half of the impressive twins, hereby introducing: Htay Yin aka Winnie!!! Pity i cant make the picture bigger.. I tried my best already. Make do and don't hiam.
Now get ready, cos I know she's more than what an average guy can handle!

Fact File: 1.65m, xx kg, legal 21, SINGLE.

Winnie makes a great cook, she whips up all sorts of dishes and can make desserts, pastries etc! omg what a talent! (but do not ask her to do sushi with a friend named frenie cos *ahem* let's just say it's like... unforgettable) A super rare domesticated female. I give her A** for wife quality.
Winnie is so smart, she'll probably need an hour to do whatever work you're doing for 3 hours. She's taking on the Honourable SMU Double Degree Program (Accts and Biz Mgt) and it is yet to be seen whether she'll do the challenge of double degree double majors.. Winnie shares a passion for humanitarian affairs (woah I impress myself) and you can find her actively involved in community work and plans to go overseas to aid those tsunami la, earthquake la, poverty la places. She's Power!
